Finally had the time to rate this game after 800 hours gameplay. I will just tell you my favourite moment of the game though.

I played as The Arabians on some kind of pangea/fractal like map. I was in the middle with the french to the east, the mongolians to the west and the persians to the north. I was doing quite poorly because of bad settling and the ai forward settled me, I didn't get a single wonder, and if that wasn't bad enough the french attacked me on my second city with an army twice as big as mine. I defended ok and my city was still under my control but the french didn't want to make peace. Suddenly the Mongolians joined in and attacked my capital and I almost lost it but thankfully the Incans attacked them so they were stupid enough to only bring back the melee units meaning they had no way of taking the city. But Then the Persians felt lucky and also joined in on the second city that was also under siege of the French. I just laughed and thought "Well ♥♥♥♥ this game", I was just about to quit the game but I felt like I wanted to stand in battle to death. I held my cities for years as my civilization discoverd how you can use bows while riding a camel! A brilliant idea it seemed cause just 3 of them were enough to bring the siege to an end and at the same time bring the siege to them. My camel archers swarmed their lands and their arrows swarmed the air and the cities. Just after 10 turns I had gained 4 cities and I was still in happiness I think (old game). and just after 10 more turns I had both the French and Mongolian capital. I decided to let Persia go as a trading partner and he actually decided to ally up with me for the rest of the game.

I won the game. You don't leave a country when it falls you leave it when it doesn't need you aka whatever happens when you win the game.
