What you are paying for is a single player campaign that, depending on how fast you care to progress, takes about 20-25 hours to complete. The best way to describe the story is that it is a bit of a discount Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy where the characters aren't to be taken seriously, and the plot isn't to be scrutinized. The gameplay is whatever you decide to make of it, whether you care to bounce nimbly around your target while slowly picking it to bits with a rapid firing laser, slink about while under a cloak attacking from stealth, float about in a fortress whilst subjecting your targets to heavy missile salvoes, smash your opponents bridge in with a space flail, or manipulate gravity in order to dominate your opponent, this game will oblige if you put the time in to customize. Other small details such as having a good soundtrack and pretty graphics (I mean pretty in the sense that they are nice to look at, not that they require a 500 dollar graphics card to run) really make the entirety of the game a well spent 30 hours, especially so considering how it only cost me a dollar.

My only two grievances with the game are that the multiplayer is dead, and that the potential for the single player to be a bit more open world isn’t utilized.

All in all, I give it a solid 9/10
