You already know what this game is and you already know if you'll like it. Only things I can really say are that it's better with friends, but the multiplayer netcode (especially in campaign) is not very forgiving for people with slow internet.

UPDATE: It's been about a year since release and the whole collection is here now. This is hands down the best halo experience to date, and will probably remain so for a long while. If you're interested in halo pick up halo reach. If you're a fan, you probably have the whole collection already. It's excellent, and it's even better with friends. Getting into the custom games scene is probably the best social gaming experience you will ever have!
