I started playing this game when the game was in it's drought period between Warmind and Forsaken. It was fun, but ever since Year 2 of this game started it's been a wild ride, with mostly high points and a couple of low points (looking at you Season of the Gambit, though it was a cool concept). Would definitely recommend, don't get too confused by everything the game throws at you, if you like New Light get Shadowkeep, and possibly Forsaken if you want more story and weapons to chase. Go at your own point, and enjoy the experience.
