It`s an excellent recreation of one the best games ever existed, it achieved the perfect atmosphere and mood of the Original and made it better, really well made, made me revive the game with a way better graphics and presentation. Oh, the music score of this mod it`s awesome!! The feeling of going through some small dark ducts, exploring the whole new blackmesa was awesome and the beautifully crafted Xen it`s just perfect.

Huge thanks to the team that have been doing this for years. My first time with the Mod/Remake, the Xen levels where not finished yet, and it was only a downloadable mod. I remember entering the portal and having the "Coming soon" message, I`ve waited for years for that ending.

The only problem I had was the difficult in some specific parts, I played on hard but, man, the first chopper, the second encounter with the assassins, some fights on the Gonarch's Lair and the last boss. Omg, it was the first time I felt raged while trying to get through in years haha I`m not that bad, I play 90% of my games on the hardest difficult. All those enemies, they are extremely accurate, the chopper and the assassins don`t miss ANY shot, they manage to hit every one of then, even when I was running or jumping or sliding like crazy, the assassins are too many at the same time, on the Gonarch's Lair, some times the boss was juts too fast and way maneuverable than it should and the last boss it`s just too much happening on the screen, it felt like playing Doom Eternal all over again haha, took me a while to get all the patterns.

Besides that, perfect recreation and totally worth buying to relieve or play for the first time on a updated engine.
