Nostalgic game. It's the first game I've ever played in our first computer at home. Had fun destroying Nazis (although I didn't know they were Nazis at the time cos I was just a lil' kid). Storyline is great and the protagonist, although silent, is a badass. Zombies and ghosts are kinda silly though but the Uber Soldat was really tough, and those half-bodied biological robo-weapons were quite a shocker, both literally and not LMAO. And then there were the annoyingly quick Elite Guards and the armored paratroopers with their rifles that are painful to both eardrums and health lol. It was a really fun and suspenseful challenge especially when played in the highest difficulty :-)

It was a marvelous game at its time. It has simple but realistic first-person shooter mechanics (holding nades, stamina, leaning/peeking, and accuracy) and good enough graphics. It uses the game engine that's very similar to (or the same wiht?) classic (1.6) Counter-Strike's. I think the series could've been better or as big as Counter-Strike is today if the Multiplayer modes were developed further.
