Just finished the proluge in one sitting,
It's a neat idea, and does have some atmosphere too, UI has some quirky bits to it, and some of the dialogue little strange in parts, it was fun, and the change of view from the training exercise to the operational view was very cool too.
Not sure how much game is here, or how long you can play until it get's stake, going to the end of the demo, I was wondering how things would freshen up.
Best described as a Jagged Alliance auto-battler.
Have wish listed and will keep an eye on this, The demo is free so no excuse not to play it.

OK a lot of games get compared to STS / Slay the spire, for that one more go itch, this is a totally different game, so it's not an STS like, but the meta progression of the game as you play to score your highest hands, with various multipliers, and bonuses is there, and the game is very good.
It's not much to look at if you watch reviews etc, but there is something about watching the start of the flames flickering as you know you are going to beat that score. Really grows on you.

You can't grumble at the price, I bought it, it is a little quirky, and some of the rng seems that it might need balanced, currently doesn't have any sort of meta-levelling up for the calculators you have, maybe that comes in the future.

I have to recommend this game, as something a little different in in a sea of clones of vampire survivor likes, the idea has evolved into controlling your own mutant prototype, still getting to grips with all of the mechanics, reading the tutorial is a good start, but it just seems fresh, nice graphics, good music, and interesting dynamics. A fun rogue-lite, which is a genre i'm exploring a lot. Will be even more fun when I know what I'm doing.

A real gem for the price, lots of replay-ability you just need to let your imagination run a little bit, still don't quite understand everything about it, but having a blast, when not getting blasted.

Short and sweet, played the demo first, bought the game, beaten after 7.5 hours, I hope there is more to come, a lot of fun, and I think I received my money's worth

Don't overlook this game because of it's low price.
Simple, well thought out, skill based no pay to win mechanics, or anything like that, good old fashioned fun.
