Hypnospace Outlaw is a perfect snapshot of a world that could've been, it perfectly emulates the utter chaos of the (then new) internet, it also perfectly emulates the greed and naivety of companies that, to this day, ♥♥♥♥ users over for marginally higher quarterly profits.

But that's not what makes it special, the game is simply really, really well written, the characters on there are more real than anyone you've ever met on Instagram or Facebook or whatever new social media site they are using nowadays, there's happiness, whimsy, joy, and true, unfettered sorrow.

This will stick with me forever, I feel.

Easily the best ARPG ever made.

I'll give a positive review once Sony decides to sell this to the rest of the world, but the game is good.

Great job paywalling the new ♥♥♥♥, everyone loves paywalls, right?

Miles better than whatever they did with the remakes.

TL;DR: Sable is a beautiful, lonely experience that is hindered by technical issues.

I cannot not recommend this game, Sable is beautiful, impactful and well thought out, but unfortunately a host of technical issues make the experience feel cheapened or makes the game hard to play, issues such as: audio and frametime stutters/spikes, broken menuing (fixed by closing and opening the game), the climbing mechanics often bug out leaving you repeating animations on ledges time and time again.

If you want to experience this almost perfect game, please be aware that you WILL encounter these issues, but I do think it's worth a play through.
