It's nice to lose at poker without having to take a loan out on my 401k

This game was unexpectedly fun and addicting, ripping packs while my boys take care of stocking and manning the counter is unreal. Im also flat out broke and haven't upgraded my shop in 10 days, I just can't stop ripping packs

Shot someone in the chest with a tranq, I snuck up to get close so I could extract, they turned around scared, shot me once then fell unconscious.... 10/10 great game

I bought this game back when it launched on the Battle.net launcher, and have put more than 500 hours into it overall. I would highly recommend everyone try the game at the very least. Not only is it free to play now (free games are always good) but Bungie seems to finally have some footing on a good game (only took over two years, but that's the downside to partnering with Activision). In all seriousness, I really do like the game, it plays really well, the catch up to late-game has been significantly reduced from what it used to be before Shadowkeep, and honestly playing through each campaign can be some real fun. I wouldn't call it a perfect game, but I would say if you are into looter-shooters it is one you should have in your library.



EDIT (9/24/2021): I'm making an edit to this review here nearly 2 years after my first review and I have to say, nothing about my opinion has changed. If anything, I would recommend this game even more highly now than I have in the past. With the release of the seasons following Beyond Light, and with The Witch Queen expansion on the horizon, this game has nowhere to go but up. Now is an amazing time to get into this game, not only for a gameplay perspective but also from a lore perspective. People who played Destiny 1, but didn't want to get into the new game because of whatever your reason, you will come into D2 with a nice surprise, as the intro to the game is... well, I would be lying if I said it wasn't the best throwback i've seen in any sequel ever. It is very likely that you will not be disappointed with D2.

Edit [Nov. 28, 2021]: Still to this day, I stand behind my opinion that Destiny 2 as it currently is, is the game we deserved from the beginning, and the fact that we are finally getting to some lore things that literally have made me jump around with joy, makes me absolutely in love with the game. It took a while for it to get to this point, and Bungie has had to deal with many *many* controversies (I am looking at you Activision, and your money-hungry bitchass trying to push Eververse cosmetics so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard) to get to this point. Honestly, I understand the many people who think this game will never ever live up to their expectations, and I definitely understand that a lot of people are tired of waiting for the game they imagined in their heads. I used to be that person, but instead of crying over a game I "will never have" I learned to enjoy it for what it is. There is so much they do right now, and they are actively working to make it better and change things up so it doesn't feel as stale as Curse of Osiris. I love it, and I will probably love it forever, and I hope you will give Destiny 2 the chance it honestly deserves now.

If you love mic-spamming 12 year olds, dying from people you didn't see, or flipping cars over nothing, this is the game for you!

I really like this game, so much so let me share with you, you lovely person you, the ending of a game I had.
In my first game as a killer, I took a person down and let them take a time-out on a hook.
I stayed near by in the case his friends came to save him, lo and behold they did.
In the fray I ended up taking 3 of them down, and let one get away.
I killed the 3 I took down, and sadly the last person decided that they didn't stand a chance and disconnected.
The game ended, and in the end-of-game lobby the man confronted me about my brilliant tactics.
He called me a derogatory name that means female dog in heat, to which I was responded "what do you mean", he responded with a few cuss words and then told me to talk to him when I got out of middle school.
This confused me, since I am a college student, so I told him "Why does it seem like you didn't like my tactic."
This man then responded with something I will never forget, "Because that tactic is for <insert insult based around an alternate name for a cat here>." then again replied with "I hope you lose your life to a car accident" which I thought was a bit rude, considering telling someone you hope they would die should never be used so lightly.
I assumed he had left at this point, but just in case I told him "I apologize for your inability to play the game correctly, and I do hope you gain skill before our next meeting. Good day sir"
Back to my review of this game, the NaCl alone is worth buying the game for, I r8 an 8/8, 6/9, 10/10, and 100/100.

Been playing Counter-Strike games for about 11 years, and I can honestly say that CS:GO is the best so far.

Edit: CS2 is the best thing so far

Shot a guy in the head to defend myself, and killed him in one shot. Went to loot his gear and his shoes were ruined. 11/10
