Peak RTS is finally on Steam

it is doom on crack and i mean that in the best way possible

Pretty good game, but inferior to TF2 as it is missing any sign of a cleaver.

I truly love this game. It has brought me and so many others hours upon hours of enjoyment. I started playing in 2016. I remember being in class when Jungle Inferno was announced alongside the first new weapons in over three years. It was a wonderful feeling.

But I no longer feel that way.

It has been over six years since Jungle Inferno. Sure, there have been small content updates and patches over the years, but excluding Blue Moon and Summer 2023 (both of which are over five years apart), there has been nothing. Instead, they add cosmetics every so often to keep the money going. I love the new maps and cosmetics, but it is all thanks to the community that we have it. Valve just puts it in the game as if they are an uncaring parent, letting their child do whatever and taking credit.

The gameplay is still fun, but to get the most enjoyment out of it, you need to play community servers. Casual mode is a wasteland thanks to bots. Competetive mode is dead. Players shouldn't have to rely on other players to set up a server to keep the game alive. Yet here we are.

Do I love the game? Absolutely. Do I recommend it to new players? Absolutely not.

Great Sandbox game for everyone to enjoy.
