♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SONY ACTUALLY REVERTED IT. I still PERSONALLY don't enjoy it, but it's a good game! I would've personally preferred something a little closer to Helldivers 1 in general, but I think it's the best example of a live service game we've EVER gotten.

Animal Crossing meets a Roguelite, but you build a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cult worshipping your earthly shell. It's fantastic.

It's Halo. It's open world. What do you want? It's actually good for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ once. They ACTUALLY LISTENED to us.

I genuinely detest this game, primarily for how it has absolutely screwed over its players who bought the game. I bought it back on Battlenet at full price, expecting a quality game that I'd come to believe Bungie was able to make. It was okay on launch. Not fantastic, and way too short for what felt like an MMO and certainly played like one. Then, they gave away the game for free a few months later. Not feeling screwed over enough, I bought the first season pass -absolutely garbage pieces of content that were not worth the paper their scripts were written on. And then to add insult to injury, they announce the next piece of DLC -the one that will "Fix the game!" according to the playerbase- Wasn't going to be part of it.

Finally, they put it on Steam. With all the DLC I paid for absolutely free. And what do I get? A big, fat middle-finger telling me to go ♥♥♥♥ myself.

Absolute mecha perfection.
