Steep learning curve here, ended up watching a lot of youtube videos and parsing the wiki for what certain things do. There is a lack of item descriptions so you might end up tossing useful "junk" items away or missing them.

Active workshop with all sorts of goodies you can supplement your game with, I suggest playing it vanilla for a few deaths, yes you will die a lot, before you start looking into the workshop.

Overall really fun game with huge panic moments - my favorite so far was my sneakers wearing out and not knowing it then walking over broken glass and trying to figure out why I was limping and bleeding out. I found some sutures, disinfectant, and bandages while brain slapping zombies and trying to get to a safe spot. Managed to treat myself with a sliver of health left and made it through the night. It can be truly unforgiving sometimes, but, that's what makes each death/story so much fun.
