The game has a lot to live up to, but now that mods are going to be better and added alot more this game surely will become a living legend just like warband, highly recommend this game if you like the war theme such as total war, crusader kings, this is different as you are the hero fighting in the battles, commanding troops, being a vassal, so much to look forward too in this game, rome mods, lotr mods, ancient greece mods, and if anyone is ambitious enough and talented a full map mod like CK2 - europe-asia-africa, that would be amazing! also aztecs.... i dont know where to stop the hype i have for this game is real.. :)
