Yes this game has its issues but i wanna give a clear cut picture from my experience in the game over the last few years so enjoy the following, no matter what i say bellow do know i truly love this game even with its inherent flaws.

PROS:
The people are this game biggest highlight but also its largest downside as its really a lottery to whom you will meet, but in saying so trust me when I say the amazing people in this game from performers to the individual communities like RP or even the mirror dwellers are amazing and chill. The great people in each of these community far outweigh the less than friendly users.

The game is incredibly diverse in terms of customisation through unity and blender model editing and world editing.

The game can look incredibly high resolution with amazing shaders if thats something you like.

Can run on desktop standalone without a headset.

CONS:
As said above a large one is also the community in certain ways, there are plenty of "bullys" and trolls within the game but thats just a given.

The horrible optimisation of this game really cripples it for me, yes it can run on lower end hardware like a gtx970 but even at the higher end hardware I wouldnt be hopeful to get max frames a lot of the time , i speak from experience using the following cards over the years *GTX970, 5600XT, RX 590, RTX2070S, RTX3070TI*

Bad choices for performance and accessibility to the game, to those who follow the game now EAC was a huge conflict topic due to the performance hit and the overall removal of mods to help make the game more accessible to people for eg who cant speak, hear proper or need panic buttons and all. Yes some of these features where added like a chat box feature or earmuff modes but still many of the mods even i had used to make the game run better and be more safe for me are absent in the game itself. Granted other VR media platforms live chillout vr or neos dont have a lot of these either but do support modding in their own extents

Conclusion:
Yes give this game a shot well its more a social platform than a "game" to me at least since you can just spend your time talking and making friends you will have for the many years to proceed. So throw that headset on or boot into desktop and truly enjoy the mayhem that is VRC
