Ignore the play time, I've been a snowPEAK enjoyer since launch, and have only just now moved to the steam version.
The waifu shooter genre is a shockingly untapped market, and snowbreak scratches the itch pretty well. F2P-friendly, so even low spenders and people who don't wanna pay anything at all can have a good time. I myself, as someone who has every character except 3 I don't want, rarely spend any money in gacha games and only occasionally drop a bit of cash here and there on cosmetics.
As for the gameplay: it's really improved since the early days. Characters and their kits have gotten a lot more interesting while still being extremely simple to pick up and play, and Seasun have added some nice game modes for us to enjoy outside of the normal gameplay loop.
