Combining everything I could ever want out of a mech game to create this perfect level of digital catharsis to tickle all the important parts of my brain. My cravings for a mech game like this have existed since I was a little girl, and FromSoft has delivered what I wanted. This could be the last AC they ever release, and I wouldn't feel like there were any missed opportunities.

Strikes such a specific string of adoration when a game lets you pull off the sickest schmovement imaginable. Every bit of movement feels so great to pull off and it really calls and pushes for experimentation. Would adore to see custom levels for this one. See what people can come up- maybe a Kaizo stage. The possibilities are thick!

Every inch of this game is worth exploring. Perfect foray into PSX dungeon crawlers. If anyone else has beaten this game and loved it like I do, then please check out King's Field, Shadow Tower, and Baroque- all on the Playstation 1 with translations available for each.

Very excited to see what KIRA does next. They're one of my favourite indie developers with this and Lost in Vivo.

I remember years ago I first heard about Pizza Tower back when it was very very bare-bones. I knew this game had a lot of potential at the time, but I kind of let it slip into the back of my mind over time. The release came to a surprise to me one day, and I eagerly awaited those last couple days before launch. Well, it came out, and I was not disappointed.

This entire game plays as good as it looks. Buttery controls with a great little action system that allows you to absolutely fly through levels and want to go back for a higher score. Movement feels incredible, with a little slop here and there, but that slop is part of the enjoyment toward mastering the movement, and how it feels the way it does. Building the combo meter up and not letting it drop feels so satisfying. Running through the levels as mach-speeds also feels exhilarating. Gotta love that our pizza man can shinespark, with the same rules as Metroid: Zero Mission. It feels phenomenal, and that's just talking about movement. Every single level brings its own flavor to the party. Every level feeling unique from both a level-design aspect as well as an artistic aspect. And this trend stays true for the entire game. The different themes and music for each level.

The music and art in this game are both incredible. It really feels like they wanted to put as much love and expression into these departments, and it really paid off. Every frame of animation has so much personality and charm, paired with the various sound effects, brings so much enjoyment out of simply watching this game. Some animation gives me a genuine laugh, like "Back to this guy" or the various parry poses. And then the music and its use of samples create this wonderful feeling of late 90s 2D platformer camp you don't come across often today.

I really loved this game a lot, and I can see myself replaying it over and over again. I'm very excited to see what speed-runners do with this one.

I have yet to have the feeling of "Halo's back!" like so many people seem to feel.

This is the most 5/10 game I've ever played. For every good there's an equal bad.
