Steer clear from this game, I have 28 hours played, and they were extremely fun, however with Paradox buying this, and immediately releasing a new DLC, I would not recommend anybody gets it. Go take a look at every other paradox game, and what their DLC policy is like, they're going to keep releasing integral content, and paywalling it, then pretending like it's okay somehow. This game had an amazing run, good development, and most importantly updates were free, but that's no more, now Paradox runs things. Mark my words, this game's store page will look like Cities Skylines or Europa Universalis 4's within two years.

It's probably the best real estate tycoon game I have played in a while, there is a weird side minigame where you also manage a cabaret as a pirate, it's kind of quirky at times, but the story really kept me going, the quirkiness is only good, never bad, and the pirate's storyline made me cry a couple of times. 9/10 would lose a pinky to play again.

Like the first one but in 3d, it actually translated really well. I would write a more thorough review, but apparently steam doesn't deem my prior reviews sufficient to tick a checkbox.

¡Santiago y cierra, España!

Blood and Gold: Caribbean is a game that takes you back to 1670, and allows you to crawl from the underbelly of the devil right into the Spanish conquest of the Caribbean. Join the Kingdom of Spain, and fulfil your duty to civilize the land, it won't be easy, and you'll have to climb the ranks, but eventually, through faith and battle, you will achieve it. Slaughter savage peoples like the French and English, requisition their plunder and artifacts, bring your rebellious Dutch vassal back to its rightful place under the crown of Spain, invest in lucrative enterprises (paying your duties to your beloved king, of course), or simply partake in naval combat, whatever you choose to do, you will bring glory to king and country!

As for the negative reviewers, I think it's likely they've stumbled upon a bug that allows them to join factions that are not Spain, which probably makes this game unplayable.

It's a good game, albeit all the negative reviews. Maybe some people should take the sticks out of their asses.

I haven't finished a game in a really long time. I'm glad I completed all the objectives in this. Definitely worthwhile.

You play as Rover, the friendly and intelligent family dog. You are the biggest corgi the world has ever seen, and you must eat all the sausages in the kitchen, until you can fight no longer, and you become the Sleeping Dog. Really now, you play as a Jackie Chan double who is actually a sleeper agent (hence the name, hurr durr) and you want no trabble. You fight your way through several ladder factories while holding several different babies, in your fight against slightly bigger asian people that look like they're straight out of Fast and Furious. You go through several losses, in this trainless society, and sleep with many prostitutes, although it is wisely disguised as if you are getting a massage from a massage parlour. You go through several girlfriends, and lose none of the perks that came with them after you pump and dump through all of them, essentially leaving the world with several Jackie Chan babies. You also learn many secret hidden techniques by picking up some sort of Chinese takeout food, or something along those lines, I don't really recall because it was unmemorable, but that's besides the point. The game has you fighting in a very enticing combat system that allows you to have fun while you steamroll everybody as if you were a train. What this game lacks in trains, it makes up for in witty dialog, enticing story, and fun gameplay. The main character is likeable, and most of the game is played through his eyes where he's constantly at odds of being caught by the criminals he associates with. Overall, if you want a fun, and mindless beat 'em up game, with a karaoke minigame in it that frankly deserves its own review, you should get Sleeping Dogs, because who doesn't want to be an oversized corgi, fighting sausages in the kitchen?

I was waiting for Starbound, the other day, when on the Chucklefish website this game was announced. Thinking it was some sort of weatherman simulator, I instantly purchased it, and have not regretted a penny spent on it since. I'll get the negative out of the way first, the game has no trains, and it is no weatherman simulator. I was also very disappointed to see that there was no actual rain despite the fact that the game's name indicates there being some possibility of it. However, on to the positive. I irked several of my friends to get this game and play it with me, but the select few that didn't remove me off their friend's list for telling them to buy this game every ten minutes were thoroughly pleased with it. And we had thirty-something hours of fun the first day the game was out. The game is very reminiscent of The Binding of Isaac, but of course, it's an action platformer shooty game instead of a top-down shoot 'em up styled game. That's not to say that there's no shoot 'em up elements in Risk of Rain. Whenever you're not shooting things, you're avoiding them. The game is tons of fun with friends, and I would definitely recommend it to anybody who likes a good and light experience where you shoot stuff and get items to shoot more stuff with.
