If I were you I really would just wait for the UE5 mod support to catch up and continue as you were,

I'm okay with this purchase on account of supporting the team, but not much past that,

For ten dollars you're getting cosmetics, three guns in an inventory that roughly, already feels very samey, and then three maps. The guns I don't really consider part of the DLC because they were released in the concurrent update but they don't particularly add anything to the experience in the same way say, an ARMA 3 DLC would.

After playing through the three maps I don't quite see this as a 10 dollar DLC but rather a 5 dollar one. Two of the three maps are pretty good but the first map, Dormitories, is a nightmare in terms of it bringing out the worst of allied AI CQB and just overall being a pain in the ass to find and search for every single suspect and evidence long after the fighting has stopped. These are set pieces in every measure and there is love and craft in them but they at times feel so opposed to the game that they exist in in terms making sure they feel good to play in.

This DLC does not change anything in the game to any joyful, substantial degree, and it makes you feel like this is just a paid content update that you would otherwise see as free in games with a less tumultuous development cycle

Simple concept, incredible base to build off of, as far as I can tell Top Dog if it's built upon will be one of those games in the combat flight action pantheon that knows what it's doing and does it very well.

Extremely easy to try out and get a good sense of what the game will be like.

This is the Gundam equivalent of doing an eight ball of coke for about twenty hours straight. Just use cheat engine and max out your credits and you'll be golden
