TLDR; maybe this game is good if you have not played many games before, but so is Pacman.

This game was touted as the best of its generation. It is a style of game that would work 20 years ago, but feels very dated now.

First, be aware that this is less a game and more a movie/story delivery device. And the story is not very good.
The setting is interesting, but it has been explored much better in other stories.

If you are looking for fun challenges and actual gameplay, give this one a skip.
If you are looking for a good story and a relatable protagonist, give this one a skip.
If you need the ability to quit the game at minutes notice, give this one a skip.

If you used to play games on a console in '05, and feel like PC games have too much action, maybe this one is for you. Minor details like you having a crouch, and then a special crouch for sometimes, "hold button" interactions and no button for "exit game" on the main menu lead me to think this is a lazy console port.

Spend your money on games that care about your experience as a gamer rather than this trash.

Two button control scheme.
Dynamic difficulty.

You will get better at this, and it will feel good.

A gathering game with poor progression.
A lot of polish and very little actual game.

Fairly good.

A postapocalyptic rpg with an interesting story and semiprocedural worldmap.

I loved puzzle quest, and was looking forward to this game.

The new mechanics are fun, and getting xp makes matching colours fun.

The thing that breaks it for me is that i cannot play for more than 10-20 minutes without the game crashing, destroying immersion, and generally annoying me when i am trying to relax and have fun.

Best take on a tower defense game I've seen..
