Can literally have a wank in between loading screens.

The game is at its peak when it let's you jump like a mad(wo)man from building to building, sadly the closer you get to the end spaces gets progressively more cramped and annoying along with its terrible combat system. Faith is not the best to control: turning, gaining momentum, trying to disarm an enemy it's not the best, sometimes she doesn't hang onto things she should have. I feel like I put it down too much but i swear i liked the game, it's just I can't shake the feeling that it is very basic all around.

Great game, great presentation. Sour the experience bosses and mini-bosses recycled to death, camera as always your worst enemy, fighting more than 2 enemies at once is not fun i can tell you that. Other than that the game system is great, very challenging and fair most of the time.

A pleasant surprise, I bought it for the memes but I stayed for the amazing story. (Extra story was creepy though)

The ultimate Final Fantasy experience. Made by gamers for gamers, this one (like many of its predecessors before) is one we will tell stories about to our children and grandchildren.

As a long-time fan of the series I still remember the vXIII trailers, the gameshow announcing the Florence + the Machine collaboration; they were my favorite band, I was 20 something at the time.

Actual review.
Considering the budget, development time, this must be the worst game ever, surely the worst, most disappointing gaming experience I've ever had; I had to force myself to play through it.

The gameplay is bad: it's an action Rpg where you mash 2 buttons at best, the targeting is hell, camera works against you, you have almost no control over your party, item usage actually trivializes the game. The world is TOO big and empty, sidecontent is just boring fetch quests and hunts. You have to wait to reach your destination by car, seriously this is actual gameplay, waiting for the guys to arrive to the next point of interest everytime, you can eat, drink, play other games while you play this game. Summons are a joke, you have no agency over them, they randomly pop up to smash the inert giraffe that you are fighting most of the time.

Story and cast: the story is a mess, most of the actually interesting things in here have either already happened or they are happening somewhere else. The main cast grows on you, they feel like your real friends, even though sometimes they overdo it with drama and they look dumb. Poor Lunafreya is the most badly used female lead in all of gaming, simply a shame. Great characters such as Cor and Aranea are underused. On the bright side the ladies here are among the most beautiful in the series, Lunafreya, Gentiana, Shiva, Aranea, Cindy, Iris, all of them delle Gran Signore.

Technical aspects: Music 10/10 Yoko Shimomura, an actual goddess among humans, simply can't save this mess by herself, Up for the Challenge and Invidia are my personal favorites. Florence + the machine blows it out of the park with the Stand by Me rendition, that will tug the heartstrings of even the most hardened and most dead inside guys and gals out there. But then again, not enough, very sadly not enough. Graphics are amazing as you would expect but, a turd in 4k is still a turd.

Tl;dr I'm tearing up because this is the worst Final Fantasy I've ever played, it has it's moments but there's almost nothing to be saved here.

This is a dumb action game that somehow has Lara Croft's name on it. Amazing how they got away with it at the time.

Best looking Lara though.

Camera works against you by making simple platforming sessions hell, shooting is straight down bad with the dodge and slow-mo mechanic, also on keyboard switching targets is impossible.

This is a bad port of a mid game.
