For being released in 2014 (Almost 10 years ago at the time of this review) The Forest is by far one of the best horror games I've played, Its soundtrack, story, lore and game play is great and It can be absolutely terrifying at times, I have a friend who recently bought The Forest this year and they love how good at achieving its horror genre is, as the caves are terrifying. Being new to this game was the best and was so fun in multiplayer because we all had no idea what we were doing and everything was super thrilling, Plus you can also experience the horrors of The Forest in VR.

The Forest is a game where you and your son Timmy are on a plane that crashes into a cannibal infested peninsula with mutant horrors lurking below. As you play you are exposed to a much deeper story while trying to find your son and survive the days and nights and try to find a way off the peninsula. And if you decide to forget about Timmy and stay for as long as possible you can do whatever you want and gather resources to build various creations, crafting tools and find new ways to build whatever you're building.

The graphics for the forest are pretty beautiful for how big Endnight is currently and the game will run very smoothly on newer model PCs at max graphics and settings.
The game play is simple, not hard to master and has great accessibility options for key binds and etc.
The horror and survival elements are absolutely perfected and is done better Sons of the Forest in its current state.
Keep in mind Sons of the forest has a lot of room for improvement so chances are the horror and survival elements may change in sons of the forest.
I'd recommend this to anyone interested, definitely a must play experience from me.

I've replayed this game so many times and I still love it to this day.

At the time of this updated review "Sons of the Forest" has released and is about to enter 1.0, I can safely say as good as The Forest is, Sons of the Forest will definitely beat is predecessor "The Forest" in many ways.

I remember looking at Choo-Choo Charles back on YouTube when it was still being developed and had high hopes, when it came out I didn’t get it because of the reviews and lack of hour-play for 29.50$ so I got it on sale at 9.14$

Choo-Choo Charles is a game where you need to collect 3 eggs to mortalise and then kill the main enemy, Charles, a bloodthirsty demon spider train while collecting scrap to upgrade your train, Charles who has been terrorising the island you've brought to needs to be taken down and the people on the island will do anything to help.

For an on sale price of 9.14$ instead of 29.50$ The game would be worth the price but certainly not nearly 30$ I'd pay 10 or 14 bucks but yeah, almost 30$ is overpriced for what you get, I got 3.2 hours total playtime and have completed the game this was doing every side quest and all non required missions which would've added to the time.

The movement is a bit janky and you can go flying off objects just by jumping, the fall damage is very extreme and I only encountered Charles around 4 times (excluding the final battle) so I hardly got to fight it.
Not only that I feel a bit of nice details were left out such as simple mouth animations for the characters talking and even being shown your arms at the very end placing the eggs inside of the triangle thing in the building at the end.

Apart from that the game play was enjoyable for the most part but there are a lot of negative factors towards the game that just don't really make it to what it could've been.
Cool concept but could've been delivered better.
Reviews: Information and Rundown
I like to do reviews for games I play and I review them from heart I try to put as much detail into them as possible to help others consider getting the game and recommend it. Here is a rundown on how it works and how its formatted.

Can't lie I've gotten really lazy so ima just do the regular 0 - 10 and not make it fancy for now,
