+rep In the children's show, 'Scooby-Doo! Mystery, Inc.' the story contains two pals who seem to contantly be getting into all sorts of shenanigans. I am, of course, talking about Shaggy and Scooby. I now propose this question. Given that these two characters are constantly seen being chased by monsters. They would be running as fast as they could, in order to escape from said monsters. However, did you notice that Shaggy and Scooby constantly run at the same speed? Given that Scooby identifies as a Great Dane, and a Great Dane's maximum running speed is 40mph and that Usain Bolt can average at about 37 mph. Why is Shaggy not running competitively? Is Shaggy the fastest man alive? Given that Shaggy was 17 in 1969 that would mean that Shaggy is 66 years of age. Shaggy still has the ability to sprint at a constant speed of 40mph. Is Shaggy a God?
