!00% the Single Player the campaign on Nightmare.


Solid game!

Much more lore/story packed in than Doom (2016). Whileit can be abit daunting at first with the codex entries to keep track of characters, timelines, etc, it grows on you. Also, if you dont care too much about lore, you can play straight and let the gameplay/characters tell you the general story.

Gunplay is great, as expected! Guns feel and sound meaty. Great overall variety of weapons to use in various situations.
Fast paced, acrobatic movement
Glory kills slap hard! Do wish though that most of the glory kills from 2016 could've came back on top of the new ones implemented, just for abit more variety on the returning demons.

Graphics are fantastic! World and Gun Textures looking nice and sharp. Anti Aliasing is greatly used (not a blurry mess, while keeping jaggies to a minimum and high frame rates).

Haven't played Battlemode online yet. I do wish that Id would bring back at least a few of the simple multiplayer modes from 2016. I enjoyed them.


Another minor gripe is the Praetor Suit (2016 Skin), particularly the visor. I think it shows too much of the Slayer's face clearly, and is distracting to me, especially in cutscenes. Would recommend turning down the visibility to the visor on the default skin. Also, I think a Praetor Suit color option that is similarly colored to the default skin can be a nice option.
