The camera in co-op mode can be incredibly frustrating, and the bosses take a minute to learn, but this game has more charm and heart than most things I've played in the last decade.

It is a little cringe, but it is free. The music is excellent too. Do your ears a favor and pick it up on sale sometime.

Competent writing, a new main gameplay loop that somehow works within both old and new level designs alike, and a good chunk of fanservice. And it doesn't even lean on Classic Sonic as a crutch.

It's hardly perfect, but it's a breath of fresh air. It feels like Sonic Team is genuinely *trying* again.

6 hours of good old fashioned dumb fun with a pal. If you can find a friend for a blind playthrough, you owe it to yourself to try this.

Some of the best writing I've seen in an RPG in ages. It might take a second to accept the fact there is no "optimal" playthrough that lets you see everything the game has to offer in a single go, but the replay value more than makes up for that.

Picking favorites isn't easy, but this game has no doubt made it into my top 3 visual novels.

What you have here is an onslaught of plot twists -- a 40+ hour adventure full of tension, crying, paranoia, science, and the odd bit of psychological horror. It's truly a shame about the streaming policy, because I feel like it might turn away a lot of people from a fantastic experience.

If you enjoy visual novels, you owe it to yourself to try this game out.

Amazing from start to finish. Every episode is emotionally impactful with incredibly well-written twists and turns. Dialogue has stellar voice acting, and extremely true-to-life with all the cringeworthy teenage slang.

This is the new standard for episodic, story-driven games. Worth every cent.
