This game used to be good, trust me it was. Everything you're hearing about privacy breaches and stuff, all of it's true. On that note, did you also know that everything in this version used to be 100% free? Believe it or not, they're charging 23 dollars for free, baseline features.

And get this - the AI is at least 5 times more stupid than what it was a short 2 years ago.

Should you buy it? no.

I haven't played this game for too long as of writing this review, but I still felt compelled to make a review because, well, this is a good game. Despite being made by one guy (!), this has to be one of the better ship-building games I've played, the editor is so intuitive. If the editor doesn't do it for you, there's also modding support, and once you get past the broken English documentation, you'll figure out that modding the game itself is really easy. And if you're on the fence of getting this game, just know that it will be getting multiplayer soon™. My only gripe is that there's not really any maps outside of your standard ocean map, and the testing map. But I assume with enough time, we could see fun maps coming to the game. Overall, I give this game a solid 8/10.
