I'm doing my part!

Let me begin this review with this: Buy this Game
It is amazing and has functionally unlimited replay-ability, no two colonies will typically develop the same and the amount of mods being made and maintained for this game could honestly sell the game itself.
There are also some DLC's and don't let the price tags on each concern you, this game isn't published by Paradox and the DLC's actually have content within them, but aren't entirely necessary for your enjoyment of the game. You could play all of RimWorld a thousand times without DLC's and still enjoy it.
Buy this Game.

I want to give this game a good review because I enjoy it, however; it is a Paradox Game now (it wasn't when I bought it and it was good then). The game is functionally dead now, the modding scene is not doing too hot last I checked and Paradox is doing Paradox things (10 billion pointless DLCs that either add very little actual content or break a lot of stuff).

Space Engineers is a game that I hold in a... mixed light. I enjoy playing this game, alone or with friends. However, I believe I must provide a word of caution. Keen Software had been doing well updating and caring for this game, but recently they have undergone a spiral of DLC releases tagged onto "major updates" that are more of hotfixes.
They have done this 9 times thus far, in a repeating cycle of:
1. Tease the community with news posts of "something big."
2. Wait a few months, teasing the community every so often.
3. Release a small patch (and call it a major update), and tag a $3.99 DLC to it.
4. Wait a few more months.
5. Repeat.

It also doesn't help that with each DLC it seems to lock more and more real content behind them, some even with gameplay advantages. Don't interpret this wrong, some DLC's are just reskins of other items, other DLC's like the Warfare DLC add embrasures that are not in the base game (providing a PvP advantage).

But again, I enjoy this game, and maybe you will too. However if you are looking for a game that will continue to get real new content, turn the other way.
As of writing this review, Starbase is just a day away, and I have a feeling it is going to be better managed than Space Engineers. It might be the better option.

TL:DR
Game is pretty good, though it hasn't received a real update in years. And therefore I can't recommend it.

This is such a good game, even with the slight little glitches I encountered. I absolutely loved it, and hey this game's free, unless your computer somehow doesn't have enough space, I would definitely give this game a shot.

Don't get me wrong this is a great game, I have enjoyed it sometimes, but it is probably one of the most pay-to-win type of games I've ever played. Its just annoying to work hard to construct something really cool, only to have it never win a fight because you just don't have the good weapons. So, I'm just done with this game, maybe the devs could make it more balanced, but until then I'll be playing RimWorld.
