8 Years, 2 In crunch, many dozens of millions of dollars invested.

Hopelessly buggy and unoptomized.

Come on CDPR, we all know you can do better. this is unacceptable.

Come back in a year after its been patched.

I don't write reviews like this often so i'd like to apologise ahead of time for it being short and blunt

If i'm gonna be honest, as an introvert that doesn't hop into big groups often. I don't see the appeal, its game play consists of super easy minimal mini games, running around both dead and alive and arguing with strangers. Over all the interaction is very minimal, and the "fun" comes sole from being with friends. if you don't have a large friend group your enjoyment will be affected.

It was 5$ and i had 3.50$ on my account so the purchase doesn't bother me, but its super over hyped and really not worth what i paid for it. if you want the arguing guilt over friends dynamic just buy table top simulator and play secret hitler. you'll have a lot more fun than what this "game" if you can call it that offers.

If your ever looking for a good co-op shooter. deep rock galactic is great.
Me and a friend have been having a ton of fun, with some Truly epic moments with it.

>Be us: Separated with 3 minutes on the clock till our escape leaves us behind.
>Be me: Cut off by a super tanky boss mob that can one shot whole parties.
>Me: tells my friend to go on without me.
>He says hes coming back to help.
>Me: I'll be there, just go!
>Somehow beat it: RUN LIKE HELL.
>1:30 left on the clock.
>Another of the same mob ambushes my friend as i'm arriving.
>15 seconds left.
>He distracts it as i get past and into the pod.
>He goes down, pod leaves him to die with me inside.

For an first person shooter action game the gunplay is incredibly weak and unsatisfying, zero recoil, zero feed back. a laser pointer has more kick than these automatic rifles, and its hard to tell when an enemy is merely hit or killed due to the weak weaponry. if the majority of the gameplay will be this gunplay, it is not strong enough to keep me invested and willing to finish.

Very Common graphics issues that cause repeated crashes in many many problem areas throughout the game. rendering progress completely impossible due to the game crashing within 30 seconds of level load, 20+ times in a row. the game is amazing and runs like melted butter otherwise, but i just cannot recommend this while this is the case.

Edit: a fix has been found
in the config file find the lines

Capability=DirectX12
TargetPlatform=DirectX11

change the second line "TargetPlatform" to "TargetPlatform=DirectX12"

save the file then right click in the config, go to properties and set to read only. so far this has worked for me. still, as long as this problem is a possibility i cannot recommend the game, it is unacceptable for a AAA game in 2019 to have a problem like that.

its an autopilot. you literally choose a destination and go without any other input. its like if elite and eve had a baby but it only got the worst aspects. and all you have to look at the whole time is modempunk monitors. cool idea bad execution. i'll take another look later. but for now a pass.

Addendum(cannot post comments since i had the game refunded): I'll have to give it another look later as i said. it just feels like its missing a part of the puzzel that will take it from enjoyable for the first hour to fun. maybe some kind of multiplayer with different players manning the different stations. but right now it feels like i need to listen to music or watch youtube during the travel times because the only thing that happens is icons moving accross the various monitors. not my cup of tea but i can certaintly see why people like it.

You know i heard so much good about crysis. I'm kinda disapointed it was crap when i got it.
Its one of those things that sounds fun on paper. Soldier armed with a super suit and multiple ways to get through the campaign(stealth,kill everything on sight or some mix) but just fell flat. The super suits charge didnt last long enough for either function to be useful. every enemy on the map knows where you are if you ♥♥♥♥ up the stealth in the slightest. The gunplay was meh and unsatisfying. And the story too vauge to be interesting. and dragged its feet getting to the point. Hell i didnt feel like i had progressed at all in the 2 hours i had played. It was just going to one destination to the next killing enemies along the way. The only redeeming factor was it looks good for its age. but its starting to show its age and good visuals is only a measure of a good game in a few fringe cases.
