The Sims 4 is an amazing game. It builds of their stupendously successful series, exhibiting intense immersive human simulations. I enjoy the love and romance interactions. There's a a myriad of mods and downloadable content for this game, and just like every game I like, there's a plethora of available content on Steam as well as on other third party websites that can bring absurd levels of realism to the game. The architectural customization is beautiful beyond words and is its own game in and of itself. I love the culture the Sims has, its unique Simolean language, music, and honestly the way AI still does quirky things as the game is over a decade old now, but I like to think of it as some Simolean cultural customs that I just am ignorant to understanding. I will likely invest too much time in this game, I very highly recommend you try it if you like family simulation and or sandbox type games. Thank you for reading this and have a wonderful day!

An absolutely delightful little game in a similar vein as Animal Crossing and Minecraft. Relaxing, fun and cute!

10/10 would absolutely recommend. Smooth gameplay and mechanics, amazing and often hilarious dialogue, cannot recommend more highly.

Civ 6 is the pinnacle of Sid Meier's historical turn based strategy games. It is hex based, provides exceptional functionality and customization. The game provides an immersive environment with historically accurate dialogue representative to their respective diverse cultures. I personally study ancient languages, history and culture; so obviously I find this fascinating. I've also often found that adherence to actual historical reality is a make or break for whether or not I like or play a game. In that regard this game is perfect. It also is incredibly addictive. Next thing you know you realize you're late for work....Oh jeeze I'm going to be late for work I better go now, take care! Don't play this too much, 10/10 cannot recommend more.

The sea is in my veins, as many of my ancestors (father, grandfather, and many older ones) fought and served in the United States Navy proudly from the civil war, both world wars and the Vietnam conflict. This game accurately renders multiple vessels that my father and grandfather served on as well as many more. The amount of combinations of battles that never happened (as well as many that did) can be brought to exceptional detail in this game. The time period starts off at around world war 1 level, and it appears to center on the 2nd world war from what I can see. The points and rank systems are very different from War Thunder, which is quite refreshing actually (not anywhere near as much a pay to win kind of game in my opinion), War Thunder has many redeeming qualities however, but that's for another review. Moving while shooting big cannons is a really important skill, as well as leading targets accurately. Torpedoes are nasty super weapons that level the playing field, making battleships very weak vulnerable targets rather than the juggernaut behemoths you'd think they'd be. Boatloads of fun ahead, just steer clear of those icebergs and islands!

This game is the ultimate dream of anyone who loves medieval/dark age life. The plots, schemes, seductions, claims, invasions, successions, rebellions, of all different kinds. A soap opera type drama unfolds with your character and their court, family, neighbors, and everyone in the medieval world. Control the leaders of those families and help steer them to greatness by making the best decisions for their realm. I love how much you're able to edit and customize the game, its an ultimate sandbox game to explore thousands of characters for years of fun. I especially love the detail they give (a tradition carried over from CK2, among others) to events, creating more flavor of the character for the increased immersion factor. The relationships between people in the game are also very elaborately well scripted by the Clausewitz engine to make traits and actions as well as everything else in the world to make ai not feel like a dumb ai but more like an actual person doing real things in a real environment. The detail of the new character portraits cannot be left unsaid, its beautiful. Breathtaking, astonishing in fact. Even genetics is scripted in painstaking detail with this game, and it makes for a most realistic experience as a medieval ruler simulator. Paradox Interactive really gives us a mighty heir to CK2, and the gaming community is left awe-struck in its wake. I honestly expected a few more encore CK2 DLCs to be released back in 2019 before such a mighty sequel, and this new game was kept largely on the down low until mere months before its release. The DLC which will undoubtedly be unfurled piecemeal every few months to give us all something new to this new canvas of a game, and they will be well worth the cost. If other games like CK2 and EU4 are to be used as a comparison I think there's a lot more that will come to this game in the next few years. Hopefully more start dates, as CK2 has many and CK3 only has 2. I know it was just released, but start dates are really what increases the game's multi-dimensional feel, I'd pay just for DLCs with new start dates alone. Dedicated naval units, naval battles, and siege weapons being used defensively from cities as well as against infantry should all be a thing in my opinion (as none of those are yet). Their economy/trade could use some influence from another recent game (perhaps the naval units thing too), Imperator:Rome. Imagine if Imperator had such detailed characters and relations. Both games do have really cool maps, admittedly CK3's is superior with a more tied-together feel of how it all works, as well as lots of other aspects too. All in all anyone who likes medieval ruler simulators would love this game. Its way easier than CK2 with about 1/4 the buttons, so that's another plus for people who may have been previously discouraged from playing.

Dinosaurs, resources, blades, armor, guns, more dinosaurs....Hunt, build, survive. Its not a bad game, especially if you have friends that run a dedicated server. You're supposed to train dinosaurs and keep feeding them, but I enjoy creating houses, walls, castles and stuff like that. For me its kinda like Minecraft HD. The PVP stuff can be a bit competitive, but I'm sure there's plenty of online servers just for fun. PVE is more like a big dinosaur ridden sandbox. The first time I saw a Tyrannosaurus Rex I was so scared I was screaming (In real life) and I defecated (in game) and then the T-Rex ate me before I could run back to my half thatch half wooden hovel I cobbled together. For the next week whenever I played the game and saw a large creature in game I had Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and would run and hide in game and never go far from that shore. Since then my friends have made joking remarks at never building out from that lonely shoreline, but I felt safe there. My castle felt safe there too. Good game, get it if its on sale, and try out all the different maps too!

This is one heck of a unique game, I'd relate it to a cross between a combat simulator and a multiplayer online arcade. The models and skins are exceptionally detailed and highly (not 100%, but like 99.8%, I'm a historical nerd so that is important) accurate to specifications in real life. You get to chose a nation and then fight alongside them with their equipment accurate to the period of the second world war. The minute details in the differences between model numbers (BF-109A in comparison to BF-109B and BF-109E are three completely different vehicles despite looking the same superficially) The G force simulator is great with red-outs and blackouts still a thing, but it can be mitigated by training your pilots to withstand it better. The dogfights are an adrenaline rush like no other; always check your 6 (behind you), chat with your wing-men and allies in the chat by pressing enter during game-play as communication is critical and honestly people don't do it enough form what I've seen thus-far. Pitch and yaw controls are essential to winning a dogfight by out-maneuvering your opponents through immelman turns and crazy loop-de-loos. Bullets will fly and planes will fry! I haven't tried out the ships or tanks yet but I've heard that's fun too. Overall if you like the second world war, militaria, shooting games, flying games, or simulators this game is for you. Also for beginners they have wonderful beginner's packs so you can get extra experience points to put into new equipment to give you the edge you need over your foes.

It's an older game, but the Total War series does not entirely disappoint. The colonial time period is accurately modeled (again for the time period the game was made in the late 2000's) with lots of unique units when you get the DLC that is available if you can figure out how to download it when its not linked to steam properly. I wish this game would allow Modifications from the Steam community to be on the Steam app for this game, as its a great game and could be made better if it had that function. Also the ability to have a modification tool more readily available for this game would make it far better. Also there are no Byzantines since the game starts after 1453 so for someone like me who loves the Eastern Roman Empire I cannot unfortunately play as them. That being said, Georgia is a country in the main campaign that cannot be played. Why Total War? Georgia is amazing and getting to play them would be so cool. Also the United States is only available to play in the custom campaign which is basically the tutorial. Another weird quirk is the fact that the entire world isn't playable, yet it feels like it should have been. Another big problem is the entire nation of France is represented by one city, whereas Germany, England, Spain and other countries are given multiple cities, making the map quite awkward and unbalanced. Russia is somewhere between broken and really fun to just steamroll over the entire world. Naval battles are a big plus, as 18th century ships are beautiful and fun to use. Overall its mostly a game of nostalgia, but it could be made better if Total War or Steam would pay some attention to it and make some long overdue changes to an obviously rushed game. Please make Empire 2 Total War, its much needed.

Early Access Review
This game has been on demand for the past decade. Now finally Calradia is brought back to its greatness and given an epic map to showcase the succession wars of the Byzantine Roman Empire in the form of an alternate world. The level of detail is impressive beyond compare, physics model renderings have been made to exacting specifications and the medieval world suddenly becomes alive and flourishing when you immerse yourself into this game. The crafting is beyond belief in how much you can customize everything. I love sandbox games, and this has a nice sandbox feel with lots of quests and dynamic shifts in countries, plots, policies and power struggles. If you want to fight with your hand picked team of elite warriors against baddies of multiple diverse cultures, here is your game!
