100% best game in the amnesia series. there's a good amount of variety in ways you can navigate through the bunker and ward off the creature. new game plus is also interesting enough with its changes to be worth a second playthrough

cant speak about solo play but the co-op is the jankiest and laggiest ♥♥♥♥ i have ever played.
might have to do with server overload since the update has just dropped, but in its current state i wouldn't recommend buying it if you're trying to play with someone else

only issue is multiplayer dips ur framerate to rockbottom and despite looking like a ps2 game it takes a fairly high end pc to run

didn't have high expectations as i wasn't a fan of past bloober team games, but this is genuinely a very polished and faithful recreation of the original game, to go one step further i'd say its a better way to enjoy silent hill 2.

the new perspective makes every location of the game feel fresh even if you've played the original. new soundtrack is great, combat isn't really complex, (pretty much only two buttons, swing(or shoot) and dodge, though each enemy has different attacks) but given how the combat was in the original this is a huge upgrade. the pacing of the story has been altered slightly but it's been done subtly. there are some reused puzzles and new ones but even the old puzzles tend to have new ideas thrown in. there's also a bunch of references to the original game stretched throughout the game if you care about that

common complaints are made about the new va's and cutscenes but i dont agree with them. i think the interactions between the characters are still just as awkward yet genuinely feel more authentic down to the facial expressions. the only real issue i have with the game is with performance, i'd mostly get 60fps and then out of nowhere the game will spike down to 11fps for a couple seconds, then right back to 60, none of the settings would fix this.
