I was hesitant when the official announcement was made but slowly got pulled in out of curiosity as the launch grew closer. My excitement grew after the gameplay was revealed showing off more of what this product had to offer. After finally getting a chance to play, I never thought a roguelike mixed with Dark Souls-style combat could be this good. I was pleasantly surprised by the unique combination, which results in an all-around fun and challenging experience.

Highly recommended if you're into either—or both—of these genres.

At the very least, I think most people interested should try a few runs, both solo and with friends!

As someone who's only experience with rougelike games are Splatoon 3 Side Order & Spelunky 2 going into this blind with zero expectations set this game up for a wonderful and delightful challenge that blew me back. Not only is it challenging but it also bolsters an impressive aesthetic, soundtrack and so much more!

This game has quickly become one of my favorite ways to relax and I consider a great step deeper into this genre as a whole, I suggest it highly if you haven't already to give the game a shot!

Do not be fooled by my current play time as of this review, while I'm very shallow in terms of my current progression in my few hours of playtime I know there's significantly more content for me to earn and experience as well. I plan on playing significantly more past this review for the following years to come
