The game feels like it should be in Early Access for the most part, bunch of the achievements seem to work for some and not for others. The developers ignore your questions on the official Discord server unless you're asking about something as basic as how to cut down a tree.
There's a bunch of islands you can visit but there's only 2-3 unique ones out of the 10+ islands.
The game has a bunch of side quests, or random tasks from the civilians but they give you nothing for completing them and if you start one with a trader then you can't sell or buy items until you finish the quest or the quest expires.
The combat in the game is also abysmal, it feels very boring and unsatisfying to fight enemies.

Hi,

COuld you please tell us if you are asking on Spirit of the Island Discord? We might be inactive at night (as there are only 3 of us to answer) but are answering all the other times.

Each island has got its' specific: it could be plats/trees/fish/enemies, etc. Completing the side quests give you additional points with this exact NPC and at the end if you are playing Single Player you will be able to marry this NPC when you have 100% relations points.

The combat was specially made as easy as possible because the game is peaceful at the end.

Thanks for yoru reply,

It was on the Official discord server, and it was during day time and developers were chatting before/after I asked my question, clearly just couldn't be bothered to reply to me. This wasn't even a singular case but happened 3+ times.

The islands aren't very unique, just because there's a different enemy type (that more often than not is on more than one island) there's no real reason to re-visit any of them.

As for the combat, I just said it was boring and unsatisfying to fight enemies, you almost just stand there and hit "attack" but if you were going for mindless and easy combat then I guess that makes sense.
