I so badly want to give this game a thumbs up ... I realy want to but I can't.

Honnestly, the potential of Space Engineers is not endless but it is huge. I originaly bought it because it's basicaly like Minecraft but in space ... You dig ... you craft ... you build a station ... you dig and craft again ... building a mining vessel and digging again ... It's awesome ...

The game has a great community. The devs from Keen Software release a weekly update and seems to be working very hard on the game ...

But there is just a tiny issue ... I play this kind of game for multiplayer mode. And on Space Engineers, it's dangerous to do it.

In multiplayer, everything works just like in single player ... but with random bugs and crash and explosions. Some features (like rotors and pistons) are not even usable ... well no actually they work fine as long as you don't move the ship they're attached to ...
Also the game is poorly optimized ... don't expect to have epic big scale space battles without at least a bit of lag ... even if you have an awesome rig.

I love this game ... and I know it is still technically in Early Access ... but the multiplayer mode needs some love from the devs ... that's all.

Too short ... way too short ... :(

I am now scared of water.

11/10 would run away from swimming pools and bathtubs again.

I got the Valkyria Chronicles manga books, didn't even knew it was from a game ...

I have not finished yet the game but ...

- Manga style
- Turn based combat RPG
- So far so good story
- Awesome cutscenes with some funny/badass situation
- Japanese full audio with english subtitles
- Customizable squad members and gear
- TANKS !
- WAIFUS !!!

Go and get it ! :D

To be honest at first you will be like "LOL I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M DOING"...

... But after a few minute everything will appear clear to you, and you'll find yourself yelling at your computer "Shield to fifty percents !", "Arm phasers mister Spock !", "DRADIS CONTACT!" or "FTL Jump mister Gaeta !".

Keep in mind that it is a very, very, very hard game ... and you'll need patience to finally manage to destroy the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rebel flagship !
