Collection of 50 very diverse games.

Still haven't played all of them yet, but almost all I've played have played well, though some do interesting experiments with controls.

Truly feels like a collection of forgotten NES era games, but playing how you remember them, not so much how they are when re-visiting them. A good chunk of the games take inspiration from newer games and are thus more of a de-make of modern well received games.
A couple take 5-10 minutes to finish, while others can run over hours by themselves.

As long as you aren't one of the people who can't stomach the graphics, or who object to games only having 2 action buttons, there's a very good chance you'll find at least a couple of games in this collection you'll love

Nice FPS. Feels like it both graphically and stylistically tries to be a retro throwback, with good results too.

First few levels are a bit slow paced until you start unlocking some of the new weapons. Once you get some special moves under your belt, the game picks up the pace and becomes something feeling very much like Quake in gameplay style and speed.

If you like shooters with very little story. If you enjoy retro aesthetics. And if you just want to blow things up, I can heartily recommend this game.

I got this game from Humble Monthly and did not know much of what I was in for.

If you expect a game with lots of challenging gameplay, you'll be sorely disappointed.
HOWEVER! If you want a good story with well rounded characters set in a story which pans out in different directions based on where in the decision tree you are, this might be right up your alley.
I left the game feeling it was a bit in the style of Night in the woods, and To the Moon.

Like in Stories : Path of Destinies, there are points in the story where you have 2-3 options on how the game should progress, sending which part of the town, or what led up to where you are into quite different directions.
Do not read this as a game which you can replay over and over and get different outcomes. Instead it is crafted to move you along fairly linearly. Go down one branch of the decision tree and get a keyword which will allow you to go down another branch from a previous decision. This also allows the game to have you know what is going on elsewhere without having to cut, just expecting you to remember what you've already played.

So in short: If you want a good story and pleasant art and intrigueing plot. This is quite good.
If you want a game-game with more to do than walk around and interact to move the story ahread, look elsewhere.

Nice graphics and fairly responsive controls let down by a game which very much does not respect the player's time, grinding along at a snail's pace with nary anything new to do after an hour.

Still one of the best modern games I've played to capture the rush and feel of classic scaler effect racing games.

Smooth and fast action all the way. Plenty of tracks to dash along in the campaign mode.
My major gripes with the game is, that the AI cars take up way too much of the space on the road, which makes the game feel more like luck at times to be allowed through.

And while the pickups for the trophy on the tracks do add an extra element, they also add a huge layer of frustration when you miss that one single token on the last lap around and have to re-play the race.

That said, it's still an addictive fun racing game.

Nice little Picross like game, but in 3D.
While regular Picross is a nice number crunching challenge, Voxelgram does not provide as many hints to work with, and the rules are slightly different, but it is still quite satisfying chipping away bits of the large sculpture as you solve it.

If you like puzzle games like Picross or Sudoku, this could be a good bit of low-key puzzle solving.

A bit short, but fun 2D platformer romp.

Seems to be channelling Donkey Kong Country and Rayman Origins/Legends for inspiration.
Nice enough flow of movement in the game and the 4 different masks do provide some differences in gameplay.

Not much to complain about. If you like old school platformers, and have 5-6 hours to kill, this is quite good.

It can be a bit boring in solo unless you have a good Podcast going.
But for multiplayer with friends this is quite fun, with each class having abilities useful to a team as a whole.
Awesome soundtrack too.

Great little randomized Super Metroid-like roguelite.
Game flows quite well and very akin to Super-Metroid en responsiveness and control scheme.

And the randomization of not just rooms but also which powerups you'll get works quite well, with new things unlocking for future runs as you reach milestones. Very well done.

(Game received through Humble Monthly)

Nice flowing platformer with simple controls, and yet many powerups and blocks to master.
Good sense of momentum buildup too.

Lots of "training" levels, and then of course the main event which the community levels leaving you with more levels than you can shake a sizeable stick at.

The game clearly aims to be Super Mario Maker for the PC. And in that I'd say it succeeds quite well, with physics and mechanics distinct enough to be more than just a pale immitation.
