As expected of SuperGiantGames, Transistor is a truly beautiful game. The world and setting are constructed brilliantly, combining a lovingly crafted artstyle with another incredibly emotive soundtrack. The characters are well written and engaging (which is saying a lot, given the majority can only be read about), tying in perfectly with the gameplay.

Modular and extremely customisable and upgradable, the combat is addictive and is definitely going to bring me back for multiple playthroughs of the game.
The sheer range of options for mixing and matching ensure you can personalise the transistor to your style (although some funtions, i.e. void(), are must haves later on)

My only gripe would be some framerate issues, and the relative lack of any graphics options, although things like resolution can be edited though launch options as I had to.
