Heat Signature is an extraordinary game where you have to puzzle your way through a different situation every time, and rewards clever use of mechanics; you have a variety of interesting tools at your disposal, but with wits and knowledge you can get through on almost nothing.

When you first pick up the game, you'll likely encounter new situations that you have little to no idea how to deal with, and it really captures the feeling of a civilian growing to a super spy. At first, armored guards and various contractors are intimidating, near-impossible hurdles. You'll pick up a trick or two here and there; maybe you realize you can use one item as a distraction, or teleport at just the right time to get an otherwise invincible target killed. Eventually you'll be finding yourself capable of taking on entire ships of high-tech, heavily kitted guards with only a sword.

But even having played for many, many hours, I still find the highest difficulty missions to be a fun puzzle to have to work my way through, and the tricks I pull still backfire on me now and again. Overall it's a game I keep coming back to when I need to just sit down and enjoy killing an hour or two.
