P2P connection known as "Simulation" is what ubisoft called it, Good game if you enjoy dark souls, mount and blade or chivalry.

Personally enjoy the game very much and a lot of the issues people experience are not of the whole. There are a few issues regarding disconnects and freezing.

The game is not pay to win, anything that can be gotten with the "steel packages" can be gotten by playing the game, nothing is locked behind a pay wall. Future dlc such as characters and maps will all be free to everyone that owns the game to be purchased via steel (in-game currency).

Another misconception is that the gear in the game correlates with how strong a character is. Gear redistributes the stats that are already assigned to a character for a more specialized playstyle. It does not provide an inherent advantage at all.

The story leaves something to be desired and enjoying this game will come from the multiplayer which includes pvp and against ai in a bunch of different game modes ranging from 4v4 last team standing/first to 1000, 4v4 king of the hill, to 1v1 duels and 2v2 duels.
