Great game and I look forward to playing but this campaign is probably the worst campaign to introduce you to a game like this at the immediate difficulty it did. No other real game that is meant for humans, let alone 70$, is like this at the beginning

The campaign story narrative and weird handling of the new Strand subclass was and is bizarre. Yada, yada, yada. No new maps for Crucible and Gambit. L. Fantastic game play changes, awesome quality of life, and some fleshing out of the "core" playlists whilst not adding "new" content to them. Many will not recommend this expansion but have tens, hundreds or even thousands of hours and still play the game. I love this game, and will tolerate major flaws in the areas I care the least about.

I'm a massive fan of the souls-like genre, but when this game launched in 2018, it did not hit that same level of satisfaction. Of course, four years later, when the soundtrack is added to, plenty of areas are redone and substantially better, this game entirely reversed my opinion. The "new" additions are a wish that has been actually answered. This game places higher than most of the souls games for me not just because of my bias, but because of the quality of the game mechanics, the portions of the soundtrack I'd actually not be embarrassed to listen to in public, the easier to follow awesome story, being great as a Metroidvania and having plenty of real replay value. I don't think I could recommend this game enough for those that are looking to find more games similar to the Souls games. Thank you for a fantastic game.
