The game is actually just boring theres a bazillion planets with hardly anything to do on them its the same issue with no mans sky you focused on quantity over quality they should have done a small solar system sized game and been incredibly detailed.

The performance is terrible. DLSS mod made some improvements but no it runs like crap dont let people lie to you. the quests consist of
Talk to person
fast travel to quest location
do quest
Fast travel back
Talk to person

Its boring repetitive and doesn't allow you to explore like previous titles such as fallout where fast travel became unlocked after discovering a location.

The companions are so unbelievably obnoxious

The local map is actually the most unhelpful thing ever

Its really hard to find stores for ammo and stuff
Theres just not enough actual roleplaying aspects in the game I got arrested and was being blackmailed and like I tried to just shoot my way out but so many NPC's were invincible and the quest has no alternative at that point.

The space combat is functional but not very dynamic or unique theres no REAL point to having crew members it would have been much cooler to have something like Elite dangerous where crew members could control turreted weapons or whatever, boarding enemy ships is boring they stand there and wait for you to kill them.

Bought the house the decorations are not really that many options didnt feel like the payoff for the house was worthwhile

theres so many stupid animations that take up too much time

The stealth is actually the most terrible thing ever I love being spotted by someone through walls and an entire hive mind of guards instantly gunning me down

Theres absolutely no life in NPC's they dont react to anything they just wander around and stare at you

The exploring while it can be rewarding with money or whatever it becomes bland and repetitive

Theres tons of quality of life improvements missing and some that just downright dont make sense
why is there no FOV slider
Why is there no option to search for specific systems when youre in the star map oh my god how stupid
why can you not save ship designs if you cant afford them
why are basic aspects (sneak, pickpocketing etc) locked behind skills?
theres no good rotation options or snapping options for building things
why cant you access your ship cargo from the outside of the ship




Theres a few things the game gets pretty right imo

I think the ship building is really well done I rather enjoy it and I enjoy being able to roam around the ship to check it out I wish there was more options for interior decor but im sure thats going to be a dlc

The new persuasion system is pretty neat

The new lockpicking is pretty neat

I think the combat runs decent on the ground

The atmosphere and aesthetics are realistic to me and I find the sound design appealing (even though its just exact copies from wolfenstein and fallout lmao)

TL;DR Game is bland vast but empty and lifeless while also being poorly optimized if a game needs mods to fix it its not even worth playing to begin with.

Just as good if not better than the first doom theres really only one annoying type of enemy in this game but if you liked the Doom 2016 then youll love this game

I love this game! it seems to be the perfect blend of company of heroes 2 and Total war, along with some very interesting ai battles. Me and my friend agree, the battles are intense and very fast paced and while there are people who believe that armor wins no matter what, well they clearly havent dealt with a anti tank rifleman ambush

I dont know why people are pissing and moaning it runs perfectly fine on my rig even at the max setting. I really enjoy this game and its very creative I never thought I would have a whole universe on my computer
