**Contain my opinion, chill kay**
Summary
You played as Geralt, a witcher (not to be confused with a witch), a monster hunter in a world where all manner of magical creature exist. One of the best or even the best game i've ever played, and the Game of the Year title was rightfully earned. An easily 10/10 game.

Breakdown

The good :

Story
I played this game for the story, you too should play this game for the story. The way the story unfold, and the writing itself is a top notch. In my opinion however, what makes the story good is the world itself. The world (although having magic and fantasy creature) is a believable world which help the player to immerse him/her/or whatever-you-want-to-be-called self into the game.

Most of the NPC had a unique personality, as you will rarely find someone that's perfect. Everyone have a flaw. The NPC also had some kind of background story, which you may find out naturally, again, helping the player to be immersed into the game.

Not to mention, the lore itself is pretty good. If you want to understand the story more, you could read the book (or just the wiki if you are lazy like me) but even without reading the book, i bet you could grasp most of the lore/story within the game.

Gameplay
As an action rpg, in my opinion the battle/fight itself is kinda hit-and-miss as in some people may like it while some may not. For me personally, the fight is great, Geralt move fluidly and looking at the way he move during fight, I think the word dancing will suit him better.

Not to mention Gwent, easily the best game within game. So good they made a stand alone game for it.

For the character building/progression, the amount of choice/path that you could take is impressive. You could play as a sign (magic) user, a tanker or dodge-and-strike style. To achieve this, you could wear a different set of armor or/and weapon (which you can craft and gave a rune), level up different skill or use different mutagen.

Before some encounter you could also drink potion which will help you make the fight easier heck you can even use bomb (and crossbow) in a fight.

Also, have i mention Gwent?

Sound
The voice of the NPC around you sounds believable, with their own accent which is great. As for the music, there's a lot of music within the game, with a wide range of emotion. Some music might make your heart pace faster (eg. the fight music ) while some music may help you relax (eg. Skellige's). All of 'em however have something in common, they are, all of them were great.

Graphic
Well i don't have much to talk about. The graphic is great even gorgeous, fitting the world. For example, in some part of Skellige, combined with it's music, i can just stand there for a few minutes, enjoying the sights.

DLC & Expansion
As you may knew, CD Projekt gave us free 10-ish DLC, some are cosmetical or item, while some of them is a new quest. Something i rarely see in the last few years. The expansion itself worth even the full price, if you only have the base game, go buy the season pass. If you didn't have the base game already then what are you doing you should buy the GOTY edition. If CD Projekt was another company, they might make the expansion as a full game. The expansion can easily gave you 15++ hours of gameplay each. More than some AAA game released in past few years. So grab em if you can !

The bad:
Yeah no, can't find any.
Edit: well the combat might turn you off, or the sheer amount of side quest might hinder your story progression if you're easily distracted.

Conclusion : best game i've ever played 10/10
