The game was fineeeee

I played it through during the November update it was still okayish then. It was fun to build the most absurd shop layouts and make them as annoying as possible. After a while I took it more seriously and started tweaking as much as I could, putting large items near the storage so my staff didn't have to walk so far, etc.
I set myself the challenge of putting everything in the default size and entertained myself that way.


It took me 45 ingame days and 30 realtime hours to complete the game.
The unfortunate thing is that probably 20 of those hours were just me waiting for the damn crates to be filled and the shelves to be restocked. It sucks, its not fun, its just a waste of time. Id understand if during market operation it would be this slow so you couldnt cheese it. But off hours, when the market is not open, why am I waiting? This is just player punishment and makes me want to finish the game as soon as possible.

The winter update is also very meh. Employees now have their own menu and reassigning tasks sucks. I used to be able to just put 10 staff on camp duty to make it quicker, but now it is just a chore to do that.

Honestly, most of the problems with the game are that you have to WAIT. This game could have been called watch paint dry simulator and it would be at least 50% correct.

Id play this game if there was a button at the end / beginning of the day before the store opens to "restock store" without having to wait. I just do not understand why the current system still exists.

Honestly if you want to mess with your friends for a couple of hours this game is totally fine, but if you actually want to play it through ugh, good luck.
If my past self wanted to play the game in its current state, I would have told him not to bother to play more then 4-8 hours.

If I could I would have given this game a neutral rating but cant. I really hope that the grind waiting/grind aspect of this game will be resolved someday, but until then I dont see myself playing this much more

Today a new update was released that addresses this issue. I have not yet had time to test it but to stay fair I will set the Negative rating to positive in the meanwhile

Super fun game. New updgrades bring in so much more depth and even allow you to even automate your whole train to some extent.
Makes Unrailed 1 look like a Demo in comparison to Unrailed 2. I definitly recommend

Very cool and thrilling game.
I love the concept and I wish to play more games like this someday.

The setting reminds me somewhat of the bibles telling of the tower of Babylon

I am one of the artists for this game and this is my own review for my own game?

When I first saw the concept game play I was really sceptical. Was not even sure if this is my kind of game. For the first half a year I wasn't really positive that is will be fun. Though the game evolved over time and became quite a well polished product.

What do I think of it now? I think it looks much better than I expected. It's very pretty actually. Gameplay is quite challenging and itches my completionist part of the brain. When the game gets boring there is usually a new mechanic that gets introduced which gives the game a new spin. On a scale from 1/10 I give it a 7.7

This is not a managament game, it is a puzzle game.
If you expect something else you will be dissapointed.

Very nice! Love the atmosphere and the visuals.

Is good.
