Civilization VI already is off to a much better start than vanilla IV or V. Rather than removing heaps of features (like V did after IV), nearly every feature of V is here. New features like the district system and the government cards make it difficult to go back to Civ V. And after just 8 months, the game's balance and AI have seen dramatic improvements.

Is Civilization VI the best Civ game? Well, no. The tech and unit progression feels a little thin. Religious victory is a dud. And the AI is still not quite up to snuff. If you have no experience with the series, go ahead and pick up Civilization V Complete.

However, it is clear that Civilization VI *will become* the best Civ game. So once you've played V to death, and a few patches and expansions have come out, go ahead and buy Civilization VI. Like me, you won't be able to go back.

Yeah, I agree. Civ VI is way better than Civ V. I'm gonna wait for a few more DLCs tho. Civ V is still great tho, especially with the GOTY edition. I can't wait to see
