A survival game that doesn't involve constantly starving and trying to find the correct type of bullets, sign me up.

Garbage game about picking up garbage, I don't see the appeal at all

Loved it, great game to play with friends, nobody takes it as seriously as other games which is nice

What's different between this game and rimworld? The difference between a hockystick and a 90 degree angle.

Who should buy this? Someone with about 500-1000 hours to learn all the subsystems and mechanics (LOTS OF DEPTH).

Who shouldn't buy this? Someone who doesn't want to dedicate a significant portion of their life to a colony sim.

If you're new to colony sims I can't recommend this one, it's far too complex and lacks a considerable amount of polish like something rimworld would be able to offer. The tutorial pretty much teaches you how to click, make sure you have a second screen because you're going to be doing a ton of googling and to make things even more frustrating you have to specify that you're using the steam edition as key mapping has changed.

Otherwise you'll find there's a lot to grep here. Insane level of depth and complexity.

Its perfect. If this game doesn't get GoTY then I'll be very sad.

Takes some work to make it playable in 2022 but well worth it if you can accomplish it.

Solid gameplay and exploration, great souls-like crossover. The game is fairly open from the start which can lead to a difficult learning curve but looking up planet recommended planet order makes for a smoother first playthrough experience.
