This game is best described as "Yee-Haw Escape From Tarkov." Can be a pretty fun experience with friends, but also equally as frustrating. As long as you play in elo 3 or below, you'll have a great time. Once you get better at the game, and start getting placed into elo 4 and 5, the game gets a lot more annoying due to the difference in how people play. Expect to be shot through walls for seemingly no reason. The proximity chat is one of the best features of the game, allowing for funny moments or treaties to be made. Has some annoyingly pay-to-win character models that make people really hard to see, but is otherwise pretty balanced.

This game should really just have a $15 price tag, because once you finish the story it is near impossible to keep playing without the essence storage tab and an additional alchemy crafting slot

One of the biggest criticisms of this game is that it is pay to win, and that is both correct and incorrect. It takes a very long time to accomplish anything in this game, and paying speeds up the process by a lot. At the same time, there is very little you can't accomplish by staying free to play and not spending any money on the overpriced level-up passes, battle passes, and weekly/monthly available resource packages

Joining a guild is an absolute must in this game, as trying to complete any group content without an organized team is basically impossible unless you get lucky. The only problem with this is that most of the players that are willing to, and can, carry you in raids and such, are all grouped up together already and it becomes increasingly difficult to find guilds with open slots. On top of that, since there are so many people that want to join these guilds, you need something to offer to set you apart, which is typically a large wallet that can help you donate to the guild or increase your DPS to make raids easier with them

Ignoring all the monetary system issues, there are a lot of other problems with the game:
- The RNG crafting and drops are punishing and unforgiving. Oftentimes you can end up much worse off than where you started, even after wasting hundreds or thousands of resources
- The time restrictions, both in the raids you can complete or the amount of free/paid resources you can purchase per day/week/month, leads to issues where you can get put very far behind if you take even a day off from the game
- There is almost no communication with the developers of the game. Even in the Korean version, the developers are totally radio silent the majority of the time. Whether it is new features that might be added, current features that aren't working properly, or glitches that cause players to get falsely banned, the developers don't say anything or even respond to emails/support tickets most of the time
- There are a lot of performance or server issues that happen on and off. Usually it's not a problem, but sometimes you end up dead in an endgame chaos dungeon because the game has 10 second de-sync and all the monsters instantly kill you during that time
- The reset times, raid times, and patch/maintenance times are not well optimized for any country. The first round of the descent raid started early in the morning at 7am, 8am, 9am, or 10am, depending on where you are in North America, which means it also started at midnight in Korea. I'm not sure who that was designed around, especially when the daily reset time is 9 hours later. Not to mention, they frequently start a patch/maintenance right at reset time, and don't end it for 2-6 hours, completely killing prime time gaming for most players. Not to mention the maintenance compensation is almost always worthless

This game can be pretty fun at times, but I can't recommend anyone play this game unless they want to spend every waking moment playing it. If you have a job that doesn't let you work from home, you'll likely fall too far behind to do anything. If you just want a casual experience, you can try and play and ignore all the competitive aspects, but you'll quickly find there isn't much content if you're not trying to be competitive

Save yourself while you can, and don't bother downloading the game

I have almost 2000 hours on this game through the combination of multiple platforms. I don't know why or how I have so many hours, but I just do. Pretty fun with friends and a great time waster if you like to trade.

I have never played a game as complicated as this, and it really shows. I absolutely hated this game when I first tried it, but through the persuasion of my friend I gave it another go. After committing mass genocide as various different races, this game really started to grow on me. I can still barely control a competent army, but the game is still just as fun as if I'd already mastered it. Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in world domination or just beautiful large scale battles.

I have played this game for a lot of time on 3 different platforms and I just keep coming back to it every few months. Despite knowing exactly what to do everytime, the game never gets boring. With the final update released, and mods fully supported, this game just added hundreds of additional hours of content. The game masks a very dark undertone, such as eldritch horrors and the frequent murder of innocent NPCs, the pixel graphics make it almost seem like a kids game. 10/10, would recommend to everyone.

Fantastic game, bascially space terraria. The story and world are very engaging and immersive, but I couldn't find as much enjoyment the second time around. If you haven't played or watched this game before I would definitely recommend it.

If you are looking for a game in the style of dark souls, this game is not for you. I came into this game with the mindset that it would be dark souls and assassins creed combined into one beautiful creation, but it was not. You only really had 1 weapon and it was only used to break the enemies guard instead of actually doing damage. Pretty much everything was tied to backstabs, parrys, or guard breaks, and it got boring very quickly. While many people could like this game, it just felt too railroaded to have a lot of fun in.

This was the first real mmo that I played, although I started on console. It was unbelievably fun, and it still is, but only when there are friends to play with. I have had very little fun playing by myself, and guilds are largely hit or miss. The combat is incredibly unique compared to other mmos, and it feels really nice. While I mainly played as the tank, still not sure why I decided to suffer like that, the other roles are equally as enjoyable. If you know some people that are playing or want to play this game, definitely pick it up as the dlcs are not all required to have a great time.

I love this game more than I love myself, but it is very monotonous and there is basically no community for this game anymore. I have bought this game twice and I would probably buy it a third time. 9/10, would recommend.

Destiny 2 can be entirely described as, "Ups and Downs". You either feel really strong or completely worthless and the game is either really balanced or disgustingly broken. Regardless of the how much you like the story or the content, the gunplay is without a doubt the best I've ever experienced. I keep coming back to Destiny, 1 and 2, just for the fantastic and enjoyable gunplay and combat. The PvP, while mostly frustrating, feels incredibly clean and I love how it plays out. Would definitely recommend even without a group of friends to play with as the community is pretty solid most of the time.
