There’s still fun to be had here, but the lack of support and this cash-grab approach make it hard to recommend in good faith.

Łukasz Jakowski’s grand strategy sandbox has a solid foundation, such as light mechanics, replayability, and a passionate modding community. But the game is held back by persistent bugs, AI quirks, and a developer who seems to have moved on rather than polish the experience. Worse yet, the 'Definitive Edition' is sold as a separate game instead of being a proper update to the original, forcing players to pay again for what should have been fixes and improvements.

It does have that cozy indie charm with its cute art, chill vibes and laid back island aesthetic. But it is also often buried under an avalanche of bugs that overshadow any good the game might offer.
Someday there was some potential here, even some Hawaii lore so to say, however it all ended on the day of release.

A static-filled mess. While I was interested in the promise of unique audio-based gameplay, all I got was a directionless mess. A few flickers of creativity aren't enough to save this from being frustrating, half-baked experience.

A mystery best left unsolved. There are far better options that this one.
Poorly managed slop where devs ran out of ideas and just slapped something together from other games. With all the resolution and audio bugs.

Punch Club 'too' starts strong, funny self-aware and packed with goofy charm. But just like it's predecessor, it trips over its own shoelaces before dropping the ball on the final bell.
What once again started as a witty parody devolved into messy grind with barely any payoff. So many quests soft-lock, fights even with the techniques that you choose yourself still depend on RNG instead of trained stats and the story more and more feels reminds of an unfinished game towards the end.
While the humor still lands few good punches and the references are great, none of it makes up for the frustration that the game feels unfinished. Having played first version and this sequel, I recommend skipping any works made by this developer. Unless you are up to being a beta tester who pays the privilege. Even then, go for a discount price.

Wanted Rocky, got bottom.
At first this promisedd a fun boxing sim with humor and choices, but instead, it punched me right in the fun.
Snooze-worthy storytelling and heartbreaking brutal loss mechanics made me care more about my guy's fridge inventory than his career.
While, sure, the are multiple endings, easter egss and quite a few quirky humor moments which are great. But in the end you dont feel like champion. Just an annoyed overworked manager at a failing gym.

With charming visuals and plethora of lovely moments its the purr-fect excuse to celebrate anything. Even your questionable life choices. Quite wholesome experience in a puzzle.

Anomaly Defenders flips the script by putting you in charge of the alien horde defending against pesky humans. Finally, some payback! The tower upgrades are satisfyingly deep, the enemy waves keep you on your toes, and the art style nails that eerie sci-fi vibe.

Downsides? The difficulty spikes like a caffeinated kangaroo, and the late-game can feel a bit grindy. But hey, at least the humans suffer more than you do.

If you love strategic chaos and turning invaders into space dust, this one’s a blast. Now excuse me while I go rebuild my defenses… again.

(Like if you also enjoy watching human ships explode in creative ways!)

Early Access Review
Oh, boy! Poorly made alternative on Steam! Just duels without a possibility for summary, review or any of the proper functionalities on the browser version. Cannot recommend this at this time and I'm not even going to mention the subscription.

This game turns surviving the undead into a thrilling roguelite adddiction. Every run is filled with chaos, scavenging, shooting and occasional screaming as horde corners me.
Satisfies the nostalgia from the Last Stand flash game series, even if the game does not seem to be finished and is unreasonably overpriced.
