Early Access Review
Great gameplay feedback loop, but the (tech/magic) progression is not linear or greatly tied to the dungeon progression. I finished the dungeon before I even got close to the finishing the research trees. Even rushing T3 Lightning doesnt accelerate this process. Not having a specific t2 staff with high enough nature or earth skill locks you out of progressing in terms of crafting. Lastly, resetting that dungeon timer or hauling any reward from the dungeon is the most tedious of tasks there needs to be teleport stone at certain floor levels that have staff/student pathing tied to it. That will likely be the most important mechanic that needs to be introduced given that the characters spend a quarter of a day just to reach the bottom of the dungeon for the final fight. One thing I can say the devs really nailed is the building. Spent atleast half of the 29 hours building or thinking of how I'd like to design my base. As someone who isn't all too architect-ually-creative, I started with just a big mega skyscraper and with all the support and room requirements, I began to experiment and have a lot of fun with the design!

Edit: Game is more fun than when I originally played. New ultimates and room types were great to experience further adding proof to my own beliefs on the potential of this game.
