Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter (softened)
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk. Mix until smooth.
Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cupcakes cool before frosting.
