This game is one of the best horror games I've played this year.

The atmosphere is eyrie, especially because of the beautiful VHS like artstyle and this empty old house, you are moving into to start your life over.
This and the story kept me on edge the entire playthrough.
The build up of tension is made in a great way, and I'm so glad the developers DIDNT use any jump scares or cheap methods to scare the player.
Coming in at about 1 hour playtime I think its the perfect length for such a small VHS like game.

Although this was overall a great experience there is one minor thing I wish the game did differently.
I wish you didnt have to put in the work and put every box in every room. I guess just the major ones would have been sufficient (Kitchen, Downstairs Bathroom, Office, Master Bedroom and Guest Bedroom for example).

Overall a great horror experience and I would love to see more from the developer in the future :)
I probably will come back in a month to try out the other ending and find all the secrets.

Today I had the pleasure of playing another gem in the world of video game developing: "Subject Debris" by the developer
(I should rather say artist) Rolelay. Which made me feel like I was experiencing the best of horror in one game, unfortunately hidden away in the depths of steam.

When you start up the game, you are immediately faced with the stunning story which is presented by a narration style many AAA games only wish they had. Our protagonist seems to have lost their memory due to an accident but our friend I will call him General Assetflip aids us to regain a sense of who we are in this metal environment we are currently in.
When reaching the second floor above, after a spectacular code sequense in the elevator that makes you feel like a literal hacker, you get a glimpse of the stunning combat system when trying your skills out at the dummy you can engage with.
The dummy really lets you experiment with the different combat mechanics and the highly skillful ways to outplay the opponents you will be faced with in the upper floors (not to spoil anything for the probably very excited reader of this review).

After solving the complex and thoughtout riddles of the second floor designed for only the brightest minds in the gaming industry you can use the code you gained to access the third floor where the game takes a dark and eerie turn...
Upon reaching this part of the facility an amazing cut scene probably the best in horror history is played. While you are still recovering from the most shocking twenty seconds you whitnessed, probably in your entire life, you are greeted by a female character, I will refer to as Lady Assetflip.

Lady Assetflip explains the ongoing events to our Main Protagonist and shows in every way of her character, personality and design the unfathomable amount of work our developer Rolelay has put into this game. While her dialogue and design are expected to be stunning, in a game of this magnitude, I was foolish enough to think that she wouldnt come with some special physics of her own.

I will leave the rest of the game for you to try out for yourselves because this truly is an experience you should go through at least once in your lifetime. I personally do not know who is behind the name of Rolelay, but this person or group of people should be nominated for the highest awards in charitable work.

After long consideration I have decided to write a review for this magical experience of a game.
With its stunning graphics it feels like an early 20th century psychiatrists dream. Being able to diagnose patients with all sorts of mental health disorders and being able to perscribe them any form of drug (taking them yourself as well of course) is truly the experience a medical professional from the early 1900s dreamed about.

The acting is phenomenal only comparable to the acting in Netflixs animated masterpiece Hoops. It really makes you emphasize with the engaging stories of your patients and makes the decision to administer any form of mind altering drug so much easier.
The best part about this mindaltering experience? You can experience those drugs for yourself! Being able to use the free floating camera really enables you to explore the far void your office is situated in and lets even the brightest minds of the field of psychology question themselves: "Is this real life? Or is this fantacy?" as Queen Elisabeth II. put it in her hit single Bohemian Rhapsody II.

We at the Bulgarian Office for Physical and Mental Health nominate especially the phenomenal scene design in every patients talk with you for the highest Awards in the Industry. We aprove the message because a success rate of 75% when administering every drug possible with our patented Bulgarsky Treatment is even higher than the usual rate we experience, but thats a difference we can happily neglect.

Truly, this work of art is a captivating masterpiece which should be studied by generations.

The phenomenal artstyle is something even Picasso couldn't comprehend.
The captivating narration by our talented voice actor AI Synthesizer underlines the tragic story, our main character has to go through and gets even better throughout the whole ordeal.
This experience is underlined by an amazing audio design which could (in my humble opinion) qualify this game for the Best Game Sound Design Award of 2023 given out by the bright minds of the Kazakh Governments officials for Music and Entertainment .

To sum it up; this game is the best thing to ever have happened to humanity after the Big Bang Theorys' phenomenal spinoff
"Young Sheldon". It should honestly be an obligatory piece of media enjoyed by every human being.
As a player the struggles of the Conx in this eyrie forest come to light and it shows us that life is a precious gift which we all should apprechiate. Also, the transience of human life shows with every second you spend exploring the seemingly endless dephts of the Conx' forest which makes you wonder if the developers have some inside in the life after death religions all around the world tried to predict for thousands of years. It seems like the magical experience people describe when talking about ancient rituals involving the hallucinogenic Ayahuasca.

Thats why I petition to get every living being on earth a PC so they can share this breathtaking experience with me and the great minds who have also decided to give this masterpiece a go.

Flightless classic is a very calm and relaxing puzzle game.
While only having about 15 minutes of gameplay (if I haven't missed any) its a worthwhile experience which you should definetly try :)
