Prologue
Among the stars, there is only war. An all-consuming hatred for all that lives. Greed and power perpetuated it. Now the stars weep as they watch the species that they helped nurture. Kill one another for their own self-righteous goals.

The Milky Way galaxy is in a state of civil war. The northern reaches of the universe have rebelled against the iron grasp of the corporations of old Earth. Known as the Dominion Republic, they have declared a galactic war against Hyperion Corporation. The Dominion is a consolidation of many worlds and systems. They hold the northern parts of the Centaurus Arm and the Sagittarius Arm. Many went to these outer reaches searching for treasures and freedom. Known as “The Frontier,” this place was lawless for many generations. When Hyperion sanctioned their vessels to go out into uncharted space, they didn’t expect them to return. Once these many worlds flourished with wealth, Hyperion brought law to these systems. After the Out-town massacre, the Dominion was born. The Out-town massacre, called “Red’s day,” was a pivotal point in making this division. This story will place you, the reader of this document, on Europa, one of the moons of Jupiter. A year after the formal war was declared, the Dominion struck in the heart of Hyperion space. Wanting to cripple Earth’s production, they sought out Jupiter and its moons. Staging an invasion on Jupiter was complicated, so they decided to strike at Saturn’. Saturn had a gas refinery platform siphoning the many gases that makeup Saturn. However, their main target was Titan, the capital of Saturn’s government.
Chapter 1
Blood in the Sand

You were told that being the second wave was good. You wouldn’t be on the front lines and have a safer landing. However, all those “Rooks” don’t know or want to know what Titan was like. You wouldn’t be on the front lines and have a safer landing.
“Rooks” is a derogatory term for the Hyperion officers. Seen as “towers of leadership,” they often miss judged by rank and file. Many of these officers are great tactical geniuses. There are a few rotten in the bunch.
Ramirez held his cross close to his face. He whispered prayer’s into it as if god would answer him. God turned his back on humanity long ago. A sudden rumble announced the breaching of Titan’s atmosphere. He was surprised that the terraforming process was at this stage. They say the world has breathable air, but that was the only good thing about Titan. The rumbling of the ship subsided, and many of the other soldiers visibly relaxed. "3 minutes until landing. LZ will be hot," Gray tapped his M.R.C. and replied with a "copy that."
M.R.C., known as military radio collar. These devices allow troops to talk to one another on secure networks. Each squad has a closed network for accessible communication without the extra noise from other units. However, the commanding person will be tied to the next highest commanding officer.
He was still surprised that he was in charge of an entire platoon. Damn him. Damn him, he thought. He has nothing to prove, yet he goes out of his way to show he is the best. Best of the best, that's what his superiors said. "Best they have ever seen," damn them too. He hoped they all rot for putting him in this position. "Alright, boys n girls, make sure to spread out and find cover the moment we land" I made a few encouraging platitudes. Because that's what he's supposed to be—a born and bred leader. “30 seconds until the drop, give 'em hell, Lieutenant” Grey sighed but kept up appearances. “Be ready. Remember your training and follow my lead.” He knew he would have to lead by example to keep them from faltering in the heat of battle. All the lights in the drop ship flashed, washing the interior in a vivid red. All the troops unharnessed themselves and got their gear on—only the essentials. No extra supplies would come with the third wave. With a loud thud jostling the soldiers inside, they had landed.
The Hyperion Standard Issue Assault Rifle or H.S.I.A.R. no one knows why they use acronyms for everything, but Hyperion likes to be short and sweet. The coil pistols, on the other hand, are much more expensive weapons to outfit troops during this period of the war.
"Stay frosty people, keep your ♥♥♥♥ together, and we'll get through this" after saying that, the metal doors hissed open, and the lights went green. Grey led the charge out and started giving orders to his subordinates. They had five squads in their platoon, Foxtrot 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-4, and 1-5. Each consisted of ten men per squad. His first glance at Titan was a beautiful vista of sand and sky. The first thing he saw was Saturn in the sky, looming over them like a parent to its child. However, the sound of the dropship taking him back off peeled him back to his mission. Taking a quick look at his surroundings, he noted that the city they landed just outside of was hit hard. Many of the buildings were pocked with holes from artillery or vehicle ordinance. The first thing he did was order squads 1-1, 1-2, and 1-3 to clear the nearest building. The other two squads were to cover their advance. As the ship lifted off and sailed back into the sky, Grey found it eerily silent. The city was devoid of all life, not a hint of gunfire.
