I´ve played A LOT of games in my days. So when I say that Hades is one of the best games I´ve ever played and among my top 5 of all time, I hope you understand that it really means something.
There is no part of this game that is half assed. Every inch of the game shines with the developers blood, tears and sweat. It has heart and it will hold you gently as you pour hours of your life into it with joy.

Leaps better than the fist games in almost every way!
And I loved LIS1!

A much better game than i originally expected.

The frequent bug fixes and updates are also a very big plus.

Honestly one of the best games that i ever played.
It might not have the best graphics, or the best story, or the best anything, but its damn amazing at everything.

I also feel like i need to add that this might be the cleanest AAA title lunch i´ve ever seen. Not a single bug (for me at least).
I did have a few crashes, but that was due to my graphics card overheating, which i fixed right away when i found out, just by manually turning up the fan speeds. (its not the games fault, my card does that on basically every game that demands some graphical power)

Where to start.
Keep in mind, this comes from someone who didnt play the first game because of many reasons, including the controls, graphics, PC port, and many more little things that bugged me.

I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ LOVE this game.
The controls on the pc are amazing. But there are problems such as still having the control buttons show up instead of keyboard ones. and it really hard to know what button does what if you dont check the key binding section.
The graphics and art style of this game is mindbogglingly atmospheric and beautiful.
The whole game in general feel amazing. Its "dark" and lonely and has a amazing feel to it.
The combat is very nice and fluid as well, its not easy by ANY means, and you can die by the hands of the smallest of monsters if you´re not careful. But it also amazingly fair. I never felt like i died cheaply or that i didnt deserve to.
Although there is the problem (at least for me) of the game being a bit complicated and hard to learn. Like how the stats of weapons work, and what does the stats of your character mean, and what they do. There is a lack of easy-to-use information in that area. But it do think that its on purpose, and mean for you to learn it the hard way.
Over all this game took me by surprise. I didnt think i would enjoy it at all, and that i would get bored/tiered/frustrated by it quickly, however that is not the case at all. Instead i feel like a very small part of something VERY big, and cant wait to get back to the game.

I definitely recommend this game.
Although this game is not for everyone. I would tell you to go and watch some gameplay of the game first, but i have seen them myself, and i was unhappy for pre-ordering the game, but after i played it, i totally changed my mind, it might be same for you.
