I went from an ironic fan of YiiK to a genuine one. The new battle system is far better than the old sloggy one, and the new cutscenes paint the old ones in a different light with new context. And this game has New Game+, but I dare not spoil anything about it, just know that it's not quite what you think of when you hear the term, and well worth your time. You're missing a lot by not playing it.

It's right up there with games like No Man's Sky for "Games who got updated to dramatic improvement", and I'm so glad a game I saw potential in, actually realized it.
